What’s Behind Our Name?
Many people ask us about our name—here’s what we tell them: FMCG is not just a product category. To us and our clients, it’s also a target—a requirement for sustained commercial success.
In retail language, FMCG means “Fast-Moving Consumer Goods.” Being successful means your products get onto shelves efficiently, then fly off shelves and into shopping bags rapidly, and repeatedly. Both retailers and consumers love them.

The Story of BeFMCG
We launched BeFMCG because we saw too many brands with great potential come onto the shelf at a retailer—celebrating effusively and thinking that milestone was the end of the journey. When really, it was the beginning!
Despite getting on-shelf initially, something was amiss. Consumers didn't pick up the product repeatedly. The brand didn't gain traction in the marketplace. The product was left lingering. Too often to count, these brands were removed by the retailer only six months later.
Why? Well, the reality is that the retail market is exceptionally competitive, and countless things impact your product's sales once you get on shelf.
So, we set out to put our industry knowledge and contacts to work to help emerging brands and startups like these succeed in the FMCG space, thrive on shelf, and do retail right—by providing a high-touch, end-to-end solution, and by making sure every aspect of their launch and strategy is crafted with long-term success, sales and scalability in mind.
